Created in the Autumn sunshine, attempting to capture the movement of leaves blowing in the wind, and the role of imagination in ‘seeing’ the wind. Inspired by various haiku, especially those of Issa.
日あたりや草の秋風身にあたる
hiatari ya kusa no akikaze mi ni ataru

With apologies for the translation.
The image was exposed for around a week. Alun Kirby developed this process of ultra-long exposure in cyanotype, which results in golden green / brown colours, incontrast to the usual blues.
